SUNTROPICALS is founded in 2007 by Sandra Milena Aguirre Grajales and Ton Langemaire as benchmark for the export of tropical flowers from Colombia. 

Ton Langemaire, Dutch origin, moved to Colombia in 2003 dedicated to promote foreign tourism in Colombia. In 2004 he started in alliance with a local consultancy company the export of Heliconias to the Netherlands.

Due to the dedication and knowledge of the market segment, the alliance was extremely successful and we can say, famous in the coffee region of Colombia.

In June 2007 Ton Langemaire decided to add the export project of Heliconias to his company COLOMLANDA.

Nowadays the company called comercializadora internacional COLOMLANDA - SUNTROPICALS E.U. C.I. with the aim to offer quality and innovations to their clients. Due to applying of high quality standers and continuously innovations, the company counts with clients in different parts of world such as Canada, Miami and The Netherlands.
